chia pudding ratio / 1 cup liquid + 1/2 cup chia seeds = stiff
2 cup liquid + 3/4 cup chia seed = not liquidy not stiff
CHIA PUDDING
2 cup liquid: plant milk, animal or water
3/4 cup chia seeds
2 - 4 TB sweetener: maple syrup, honey, sugar, brown sugar, date equivalent
1 ripe banana
pinch of salt
Place all ingredients but the chia seed in a blender and blend smooth.
If you would like a smooth chia add the chia into the blender and blend smooth.
If not, pour the liquid into a pitcher and stir in the chia seeds. I like to place into a 32oz mason jar and shake the seeds into the liquid.
Serve with nut cream on top and fresh fruit, nut, seeds, granola.
NUT CREAM - trail
1 cup nuts: walnut, pecan, almond, hazelnut, etc
3/4 cup plant milk: cashew, soy, etc
3-4 pitted medjool dates (more if smaller dates)
Place all the indgredients into a blender and blend smooth.
Serve chilled and on top of the chia pudding
