inspired by a tampiqueña plate
Grilled Steak
Previously cooked pinto beans whole with cheese on top
Spanish Rice: olive oil, toasted rice, tomato chicken broth, adobo powder
Roasted honey butter chipotle in adobo sauce broccoli-
I made a small batch of sauce.
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp honey
1 chili and some of the adobo sauce, chopped
pinch of salt
1 lb broccoli cut into desired size
melt the butter, honey, chipotle, salt together
once it has combined toss the broccoli to coat
place onto a lined baking sheet and bake at 400F for 15 minutes (longer if you broccoli is larger sized)
The taste of the sauce is kind of south of the boarder bbq, it was nice but I would rather place less sauce and taste the broccoli more.
